Day One: Sort the words; write all words in Cursive
Day Two: Choose ONE Assignment from CHOICE #1
Day Three: Choose ONE Assignment from CHOICE #2
Day Four: Choose ONE Assignment from CHOICE #3
Day Five: Choose ONE Assignment from CHOICE #4
Day Six: Write a paragraph using each word. Your sentences show that you have an understanding of the words' meaning.

CHOICE ASSIGNMENTS & SPELLING CONTRACT!
All the spelling words must be spelled correctly or you will be required to redo it. Additionally, your work should be done neatly and the directions need to followed. Save a tree and try to fit a weeks’ worth of spelling assignments on one page!!
Choice #1
1. Alphabetize your spelling words (A to Z).
2. Alphabetize your spelling words in reverse order (Z to A).
3. Write each spelling word and circle the vowels.
4. Write each spelling word and circle the consonants.
5. Write each spelling word NEATLY in pen.
6. Write each spelling word NEATLY in cursive.
7. Write each spelling word in different colors.
8. Scramble the letters in each word. Write the answer next to each scrambled word.
9. Write each spelling word and then find the ratio of vowels. (e.g. fraction 3/8)
10. Write each spelling word and then find the ratio of consonants. (e.g. fraction 5/8)

11. Create spelling stairs for each spelling word. (e.g. f fr fra frac fract fracti fractio fraction)
12. Write a sensible sentence for each of your spelling words. (Circle/highlight the spelling words)
13. Classify spelling words into categories based on each word’s part of speech. (e.g. nouns, verbs, adjectives, etc.)paper.
15. Send an email to [email protected] with your spelling words typed twice.
16. Draw and color a picture. “Hide” all your spelling words in the picture. (Highlight the words)
17. Use the numbers on a phone pad 1-9 as if you were texting a friend each word. (Don’t forget to write the word too!)
Example: happy 42779 *Important* DO NOT actually text the words to anyone!!!
18. Write each spelling words in a code. (Be sure to include a key)
